Job Overview & Responsibilities:

 

  • Working for an established plastic injection moulding manufacturer and Toolmaker, Sales Engineer applicants will have good proven experience of working with injection moulding tools and a good technical aptitude within injection moulding machining & processes, coupled with a good understanding of customers expectations for meeting deliverables on time with right first time applications and adhering to attention to detail.

     

  • We are looking for 1 x proven Tooling / Toolmaking Sales Engineer, you could also have held the title of Business Development Manager, Account Manager or Sales Manager.

     

  • Equally our client is looking to train, develop and mentor 1 x Junior Technical Sales Engineer who has technical injection moulding or tooling expertise, has a good interpretation of technical tooling drawings and will want to aspire to becoming a Technical Sales Engineer within this established company. Career progression is high and realistic for this person to aspire for industry recognition and financial reward. This applicant could a Technical Process Engineer or Tooling Engineer or Toolmaker wishing to break into Tooling Sales and become a commercial professional.

     

    Role responsibilities:

 

  • Seek out new customers and sales opportunities within the plastics and engineering industry
  • Manage existing key accounts and build strong relationships with
  • Develop new strategies, tactics, and plans for future growth of the Company’s database;
  • Meet sales targets set within given deadlines
  • Build a customer relationship, understand their needs, satisfying the customer without compromising Company profits
  • Maintain long lasting customer relationships
  • Represent the Company’s business policies in various conferences, trade fairs and networking events to attract more customers
  • Effectively communicate proposals with presentations to customers
  • Manage the day-to-day sales operation
  • Ensure good communication between Sales, Projects, Operations and Design with regular contact with each area and ensuring that information is shared
  • Full training & business development guidance is provided for both positions.

 

 

 

Role: The role of the Sales Engineer is to develop the Company’s sales strategy in line with achieving the company’s delivery targets and in doing so play a key part in driving the business forward.   Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a “hands-on” role within a rapidly growing business.
