Job Overview: Working closely with our injection moulding manufacturing client due to business growth we are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager or Account Manager to work with their established & successful Sales team.


  • As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the promotion of company’s services with current and future potential customers as well as continuous development of a sound commercial and technical function within the structure of the Sales Department
  • You will be required to account manage existing customers with respect to pricing, strategy and continuous improvement relative to customer size


  • To promote and conclude Sales of the company’s Product Design, Injection Moulding, Assembly and Tool-Making services
  • To achieve business growth year on year through effective Account Management
  • To maintain a sound commercial structure for costing decisions, providing a realistic pricing structure for varying batch quantities
  • To establish continuous dialogue with customers to maintain current partnerships and a customer care philosophy
  • Prepare moulding estimates including calculations of component weights, cycle times and proposed tooling layouts/impressions etc., (but not tool prices) relative to enquiries generated
  • To lease will all areas of the business in order to communicate accurate information to Customers
  • To Project Manage new projects

Main Duties:

  • Seek new potential customers with potential growth for the company
  • Account Manage established Customers to ensure Customer Satisfaction
  • To prepare quotations requesting support from strategic functions to achieve this when required
  • Ensure quotations are followed up within one week of completion and establish a potential conversion percentage which is to be reported in the weekly Sales Meeting
  • Prepare and complete visit reports for the whole business, ensuring all actions are completed in a timely manner in line with the Customers expectations
  • Ensure that the enquiry database for accounts/quotations is maintained
  • Be proactive in providing positive responses to the day-to-day challenges that arise seeking solutions rather than highlighting problems ensuring customer requirements are main focus

Other Duties:

  • Be a Mentor to trainees within the department with respect to commercial and technical issues
  • Support the Sales and Marketing initiatives within the
  • Prepare monthly expenses and company car mileage for sign off by the last working day of each month
  • To ensure that your work areas are clean and tidy at all times and secure as required
  • To ensure that your adherence to Company Health & Safety Procedures are maintained
