Job Overview: Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support with the high-volume production of products supplying to the NHS along with a range of other key industrial components.


  • Responsible for leading, supporting and assisting then implementing methods of working to optimise output of existing products in the manufacturing area
  • To improve and standardise the manufacturing processes which will ensure the company works effectively, and to best practice, leading to a world class manufacturing facility
  • As a Manufacturing Engineer or Continuous Improvement Engineer you should be able to identify areas of improvement within the business
  • This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic Manufacturing Engineer to join a stable and highly successful company
  • Due to business growth and production demand, new mould machines are due to be installed with new CAPEX arriving in Q2
  • Social distance working conditions are in place throughout the plant


  • Supporting and leading continuous improvement within the production facility
  • Validation of secondary operations, jigs and fixtures by reviewing cycle times against estimates
  • Project management of jigs and fixtures for production of customer parts
  • Produce process instruction and visual aids develop and produce setting instruction for second operation assembly machines and the mould shop
  • Access suitability of production equipment for intended use
  • Effective support to development team


  • Strong Experience within hi-volume manufacturing. Experience of hi-volume plastics or injection moulding manufacturing will be an advantage
  • Good time management skills
  • Proven experience with driving continuous improvement measures; root cause analysis; production flow and line balancing
  • A can-do self-starting attitude
  • Engineering qualifications
  • Knowledge of LEAN tools
