Job Overview: Working alongside our client, a successful injection moulding manufacturer, they have retained our services to support them in finding a Quality Engineer on a fixed term contract.

Role:

  • As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for supporting and closing internal and external complaints in a helpful, professional and timely manner
  • The successful candidate will be required to understand and identify root causes of a verity of complaints, support customers through the complaints process and take a strategic view, in order to find solutions to prevent these issues from re-occurring
  • Reporting to the Quality Manager the Quality Engineer will have sound understanding of Quality Systems and the Principles of Quality as well as being familiar with manufacturing complaints procedures
  • The role of a Quality Engineer is to support and assist customers from across the globe and will therefore need to be a self-motivated individual, who is able to effectively manager workloads in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritise their workload with the various different time zones in mind

Responsibilities:

  • Support internal and external customers with a variety of complaints and close each within a timely manner using quality processes 5 Why, FMEA'S, Fishbone, CCAR and 8D's
  • Supporting customer documentation requests in a timely professional manner (including: PPAPS / ISIRS)
  • Participate in Internal Audits
  • Conducting stock checks
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
