Plastic Injection Moulding Training at WHS Plastics

Sierra 57 were again delivering onsite plastic injection moulding training at WHS Plastics at the Pickering plant, part of the monthly training programme strategically designed with their Management to ensure the upskilling, people development and staff retention.

**Core basic moulding disciplines were delivered

Module 4, Fundamental Principles of Injection Moulding

Module 7, Clamp force and shot weight calculation

Module 9, Moulding faults, causes and remedies

Module 10, The Importance of Quality

Module 11, Simple tooling care and maintenance

Courses accredited to IOM3 Polymer standards, these courses contribute to their CPD hours and upon passing a minimum 70% post training score, they qualify for certificates.

Training was delivered by Mark Lee whilst also shadowing our new Mould Trainer Tom Creasey
