Overview: Our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, has retained our services to search for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their team.
Remit:

- Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience within injection moulding manufacturing with good mould setting and processing skills
- This opportunity will suit an injection moulding setter who is looking to continue their development and further their career within the industry
Role:
- The successful injection moulding setter candidate will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the injection moulding areas of the business
- As injection moulding setter it is your responsibility to ensure injection moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels, on new and existing products
- To be able to work well within the technical injection moulding setting, processing & optimisation team
- As injection moulding setter you will be required to carry out tool and material trials
- Basic machine maintenance and trouble shooting
- To drive continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to.
- To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly
- Ensuring that key performance indicators on tool changing are achieved.
- To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site.
Experience:
- Injection moulding setting experience
- Recognised injection moulding qualification (preferable)
- Knowledge of materials such as PC, ABS, PA, PP, TPE etc
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, crane etc.)
- Self-motivated individual with a willingness to achieve KPI targets
