Remit:
- This position will suit a skilled Injection Moulding Setter with experience in setting, conditioning and process optimisation of injection moulding machines

Role:
- As Injection Moulding Setter you are responsible for supporting the efficient production of customer components ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency are reached
- In the role of Injection Moulding Setter you will set and condition injection moulding machines to keep production running throughout shift
- To prepare raw materials, mould mount applicable tools and set up processing equipment as efficiently as possible in order to deliver maximum overall equipment efficiency
- Completion of tool changes and start up procedures in line with tool change procedural documentation, setting machine parameters to the setting sheet with sign off
- Providing support and mentoring for the Trainee Setters
- Competence in the set up of machine robot systems
- Actively seek to minimise scrap through process improvements, problem solving and quick response to alarms
- Ensuring that Operators are fully utilised at all times, issuing rework or basic assembly jobs to fill cycle times as necessary to maximise efficiency
- To participate in improvement projects and innovations for the betterment of the business
- Support tool trialling where required and directed by the Shift Technician of Technical Manager
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within an injection moulding manufacturing environment
- Industry recognised injection moulding training qualifications
- Competent reach truck driver
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety in injection moulding processing environment
- Demonstrable experience of routine maintenance to injection moulding machines
- Basic supervisory experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Experience of ERP systems
