Job Overview: Working alongside our client, an established specialist injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a Quality Technician to join their team.

Remit:
- As a Quality Technician, reporting to the QA Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the Manufacturing and Purchasing functions are supported to ensure that the product meets the required specifications.
- The role of a Quality Technician is to support inspection, testing and release activities of product, along with support the Quality Engineers with dimensional measurements of products.
- The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a professional working relationship with all his/her colleagues, whilst promoting a commitment to Total Quality and Continuous Improvement.
Role:
- Will be involved in the development of mutually beneficial relationships internally and with our customers.
- Provide assistance to the Quality Manager as required.
- Assist with training of production personnel.
- Assessing conformance of received goods and release.
- Review batch paperwork and samples for conformance before release.
- Create and maintain QC documentation (Works Instructions, Control Charts etc.).
- Review and maintain QMS records.
- Perform internal Quality and Environmental audits.
- Support customer complaint investigations in line with company procedures.
Experience Requirements:
- Must be from a quality / inspection related background – manufacturing (cleanroom manufacturing & injection moulding preferred).
- Must be able to read and correctly interpret engineering drawings.
- CMM Programming experience is essential.
- Must have good working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 14001:2015. Knowledge of ISO 13485 is preferred.
- Good knowledge and use of computer software, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, ERP Systems and Minitab.
