Remit:

- This position will suit a skilled CAD Engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
Responsibilities:
- In the role of CAD Engineer you will liaise with customers and colleagues to obtain information relating to their drawing, calculation and specification enquiries
- As CAD Engineer you will produce CAD engineering drawings of components and assemblies
- Answer customer and internal queries related to drawings, calculations and specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Produce engineering calculations using pre-set calculation sheets
- Work collaboratively with other departments to understand company manufacturing methods and processes
Experience Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar qualification
- 3 years AutoCAD Inventor (or similar CAD software) experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems an advantage
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and solution orientated
- Technical and commercial awareness
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude
