Remit:
- The ideal candidate will be both electrically and mechanically skilled prior experience in injection moulding or other disciplines of plastics manufacturing
- This position will suit an ambitious Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Role:
- As Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for conducting planned preventative maintenance activities
- In the role of Maintenance Engineer you will be required to undertake reactive maintenance measures to minimise machine downtime
- Reacting to breakdowns and faults
- The successful Maintenance Engineer will follow and create new predictive maintenance programmes
- Creation of standard maintenance procedures
- To undertake, and be responsible for ad hoc project work within the remit of the Maintenance Department
- Responsible for the maintenance of a wide range of machinery including injection moulding machines, robots, automated packaging lines, chillers, conveyors, water heaters and material feed systems
Experience:
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification
- 18th Edition electrical qualification a big advantage
- Demonstrable experience within injection moulding or other plastics manufacturing disciplines
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Able to work on own initiative
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings
- Awareness of safety regulations and CE regulations
