Overview: Working alongside our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a Paint Production Supervisor to join their established team.
Remit:
- This position will suit a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Team Leader with experience of supervising a team of staff within a fast-paced, high volume paint shop environment.
- This position will suit an experienced Paint Production Supervisor with good people management skills looking to further develop their career
- The ideal candidate will be have automotive industry experience as well as experience working with moving track paint bays and paint spray booths.
Role:
- In the role of Paint Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the leadership, motivation and direction of staff
- Continually review performance standards for production flow and agree plans to achieve continuous improvement of key performance indicators
- Oversee the daily operations of paint production, including the utilisation of moving track paint bays and paint spray booths, to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain stringent quality control measures in the paint application process, ensuring components meet industry standards and customer specifications
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the paint production workflow, implementing changes to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and increase overall productivity.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues promptly, minimising downtime and ensuring continuous operation.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven track record of successful supervision or management in a paint production manufacturing setting, preferably within the automotive industry
- Familiarity with various types of paint application equipment
- Good technical knowledge of Paint Spray Booths and Paint Bays,
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience within automotive manufacturing
