Job Overview: Our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, are looking for a Quality Manager to join their established and successful team.
Remit:
- An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join a forward-thinking injection moulding manufacturer servicing a wide range of industries.
- This position will suit a Quality Manager with good people management skills and experience of quality management within an injection moulding manufacturing environment and paying particular attention to Quality systems / quality legislation.
- The successful candidate will ideally have an injection moulding background and be fully conversant with Quality Engineering, Management and Systems’ tools and techniques.
Role:
- As a Quality Manager you will be responsible for the maintenance and updating of the company’s quality procedures, standards and specifications relating to ISO9001-2015, to include auditing, calibration and reporting.
- The overall control of shopfloor Quality activities and Quality inspection personnel.
- Responsibility for the Quality of production output.
- Issue and control of Product Quality Specifications and ensuring the compliance of production parts to specifications.
- The preparation and presentation of Key Performance Information to key Managers and Directors.
- A hands-on role requiring good communication skills, as liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments is a key part of this role.
Experience:
- Proven quality management and leadership skills within a manufacturing background.
- Excellent knowledge of injection moulding manufacturing processes
- Experienced working with ISO9001:2015 accreditation
- Be fully conversant with SPC techniques and able to use a range of measuring equipment
- Experience with PPAP, PSW, 8D, ISIR and 5s would be a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Able to positively influence others
- Be an enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
