Working alongside our client, a successful injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a HR Coordinator to join their team as part of their succession planning
Remit: Our client is a forward thinking local manufacturing business servicing the plastic packaging industry. There are excellent opportunities for growth within the company and the position is best suited to someone with experience working in a small professional environment.
Role:
- As HR Coordinator you will be responsible for all personnel administration
- In the role of HR Coordinator, it is your responsibility to monitor and update policies and procedure in line with legislation
- The successful HR Coordinator candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing discipline, absence management and grievance issues
- Producing HR related documentation such as recruitment adverts, offer letters, induction paperwork, contracts of employment, handbooks, exit interviews and leaver letters.
- Managing attendance records and maintaining the HR systems (Sage and INFOR) and associated hard copy records
- Organising company events in order to raise money for local charities
- Compiling necessary paperwork needed for processing monthly payroll
- Organising and coordinating training for new and existing members of staff
- Managing company Insurance policies
Experience Requirements:
- Good knowledge of current employment law and best practice
- Excellent administrative, organizational and IT skills
- Ability to prioritise your own workload in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well as a team and to own initiative
- Strong communication skills
